WEATHERIZATION SERVICES

There are many reasons for wanting to make your home more energy efficient. Many of our customers simply want lower energy costs and to be more comfortable in their home. Others may want to lower their carbon footprint, help the environment or reduce our dependency on foreign countries. For these reasons and more, DNR Construction weatherizes thousands of homes annually. We differ from the common insulation company because our process takes the entire home into account. By dealing with only one aspect of a home may not correct the issue. This is why we can say our approach to weatherization is result based. In other words, we measure the results of the work in order to achieve goals put in place by Department of Energy.

Our process can be a standard “clip board” energy audit or we can provide blower door tests and infrared scans for a more detailed approach. We also work with many of the area’s energy auditors to correct deficiencies they find during their inspection. We work with private homeowners, non-profits and governmental agencies specializing in the administration and management of energy efficiency measures for the funding entities.
